China & Catharina

Catharina’s book “Dukning efter Säsong” ended up as a gift in the hands of the chief editor of China Vogue in Beijing, Zeng Yanbing. She was fascinated by what she saw. A collaboration soon began and the book was translated into Chinese. Catharina visited Beijing for the book release, where she was received by many excited citizens from all over China.  Everyone wanted to learn how to set tables in the exotic Scandinavian way.
Catharina continues to hold courses in China, has launched new books in Chinese, in particular of table settings based on Swedish seasons and holidays. A few times a year, visitors from China fly to Sweden and come to Catharina’s barn in Skåne to learn “Western-styled” table settings, flower arrangements, and prepare Scandinavian food.
